by 15th May 2026. Only members of NAS – The Nordic Watercolour Society may apply. You are welcome to become a member when submitting your entry to the jury. Find information on membership here
There are no requirements of theme, size or year of productions, but the works may not have been shown in any previous NAS exhibitions (in whole or in part arranged by NAS or invited by NAS)
The jury will seek to find mastering of watercolour technique but mixed media to some extent is accepted, as long as watercolour is the dominant medium. Photos of poor quality may be rejected. All photos must be images of your own works and may not violate any copyrights. By submitting works you agree that NAS – The Nordic Watercolour Society may reproduce and use these images free of charge as the society sees fit digitally or in printed publications.
The photos should be of a high technical quality: jpg, 300 dpi, 1-5 mB per file. Please ensure likeness to the original work. Photos must be suitable for viewing on regular desk-top computer monitor. Do not include mounts or frames. Each file should be titled: firstname_lastname_title_size of original (hxw cm)_technique (if mixed media). Free theme/subject matter. No requirements of production year. Originals may be in private ownership (prices will not be stated in the exhibition).
Application fee: 250 SEK / 250 NOK / 200 DKR / 25 Euro / 3500 ISK
To be paid by 15th May to the national account.
Should one or more of your images be selected for the internet exhibtion, there will be no further costs. The application fee is not a guarantee of acceptance to the exhibtion. The files will be anonymized before being presented to the jury and the jury decides which images to accept.
Should you have any questions you are welcome to contact NAS co-ordinator Marianne Gross: mg@mariannegross.dk
We look forward to your entries!
