Mission
Styrelsen i Nordiska Akvarellsällskapet skall sträva efter att
– utveckla intresset för Nordiska Akvarellsällskapet, akvarellteknik och konst med akvarell som betydande inslag
– sprida information om Nordiska Akvarellsällskapet
– ge ut och utveckla medlemstidskriften akvarellen
– utveckla kommunikationen med medlemmarna via nätbaserad kommunikation, såsom hemsidan, Facebook och newsletter
– bjuda in till och genomföra utställningar, bl.a jurybedömda medlemsutställningar
– skapa möjligheter till sammankomster för nordiska akvarellmålare
– tillsammans med Colart utse en akvarellmålare till Winsor&Newton-priset som utdelas en gång om året vid årsmötet
– tillsätta en fondstyrelse som utser kandidat till Arne Isacssonstipendiet
– fortsätta samarbetet med Nordiska Akvarellmuseet, Tjörn
– fortsätta det internationella samarbetet med ECWS (European Confederation of Watercolour Societies)

Mission
The focus of the board of the Nordic Watercolour Society is to 
– develop the public interest for the Society, for watercolour art and art with watercolour as the dominant medium 
– spread information about the Society
– publish and develop the member magazine akvarellen
– develop ways of communicating with members via digital platforms such as websites, Facebook and newsletters
– arrange and invite members to curated and juried exhibitionsa
– create networking opportunities for Nordic watercolour painters
– together with Colart to find award winners for the annual Winsor & Newton Prize
– put together a board to find award winners of the Arne Isacsson Prize
– continue the co-operation with the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Tjörn
– continue the international co-operation with ECWS (European Confederation of Watercolour Societies)
