Statement of the Jury
We, the jury of three, Aslaug Thorlacius (Iceland), JBK Ransu (Iceland) and Poul R Weile (Denmark), took on the responsibilty bestowed upon us by the organizers of Nordisk Akvarell 2010 to select the works for the exhibition. Our task was not an easy one to conscientiously pick out few watercolours from many works of fine quality that we thought could best represent Nordic watercolour today………The Nordisk Akvarell 2010 is an opportunity to introduce and enhance the interest of Nordic watercolour artists on common grounds and we are honoured to have taken part in it.
