Nordiska Akvarellsällskapet – The Nordic Watercolour Society – operates chiefly within the Nordic area, but we also welcome members from other countries. Our aim is to promote and enhance the quality of watercolour painting and to provide opportunities for the public to experience premium watercolour art. We also wish to provide painting, exhibition, and networking opportunities for watercolour painters. The association is open to all interested: professional artists, leisure painters, and anybody with an interest in watercolour.

Member benefits include the quarterly magazine akvarellen with high-quality articles and illustrations describing Nordic and international watercolour art and invitations to workshops, juried exhibitions and other activities arranged by the Society. You may find English summaries of the articles here. You can keep up-to-date with the latest activities by subscribing to our newsletter, which is open to all, members and non-members alike.
